3 Ways to Boost your Income Fast

Most Wellness Professionals and service providers are wired  to think primarily about giving great service or care to their  clients and not necessarily toward strategizing how to increase their income.

But the truth is they have a bottom line just like any other business and need to approach it as such.

Having structures in place for marketing is critical to not only growth, but for maintenance. And how often I hear these professionals in private practice are just hummin’ along with steady clients (taking for granted the business) and then something happens and they find themselves in a financial pinch – and they need to make money fast.

If this is a scenario that resonates with you, then read on to learn a few easy effective things you can do to make cash fast.

Whether you have been in business for a long time (with a large client base and big email list) or just getting started (handful of clients and small list) you  can implement these things right away to increase your income.

1 – Send an email to your list

Send an email to your entire list reminding them of the services you offer and the benefits of your services – along with Simple Steps to access those services.

Begin the email with a reason you are writing:
“Happy Spring”
“Good News! I’ve added another service!”
“In case you didn’t know”
“Here is a special offer for my clients”

Most service professional have a hard time wrapping their head around the effectiveness of email marketing. I was one of them!

Even though hundreds – thousands of emails are going out you can sit and wonder “are people really opening the email and reading it?”

They DO read it and you’ll have proof of that when you make an offer and give them an action step and get a response!
Some action steps:
“call my office today”
“reply to this email right away”

Which leads us to the next step………..

2 – Make them a special offer with a time limit

Here is what I see all too often ……

Wellness professionals who send emails and newsletters who give great content – like tips, and suggestions, and resources, DON’T make an offer because they are too afraid to sound ‘sales-y’.

The truth is people want the offers! They want your services and especially if you have a special offer for them. Folks LOVE a good deal (blue light specials!).

Do you offer coaching? bodywork? healing classes? trainings? wellness products? essential oils?

Here is what to do: Announce it to your list – even if you think they already know what you do – and give them a special offer for a limited time.

ie –
“I’m offering Raindrop Therapy Sessions for 50% off the month of April { this is smart for you oilers because you ALWAYS have an up sell of your product }.

“Register for this training by _______and bring a friend for free”

“Purchase my coaching package and add 2 months at no additional cost”

3 – Pick up the phone

Calling someone on the phone who knows you and loves your products or services is POTENT!

Choose a day on your calendar in the next week and schedule it for just calling people on the phone. Call your clients “how are things going?”, call your inactives, even call your students who have taken your  trainings. Let these folks know about your upcoming events for example.

Can you think of anyone in your industry that picks up the phone this  way and calls? Probably now. That is exactly why you should!
